One down….

It feels good to make progress so I was thrilled when I was able to finish the Arlo(by Michele Wang) for my daughter. I love it and she seems happy. She really understands how much I love knitting so every time I have something on the needles she asks”Is that for me?”  There has been some guilt in not finishing this earlier, but I have gotten in to rotation knitting.

It is hard to buckle down and finish things. I just need to do the sleeves and ribbing ( and weave in 1 million ends) on my Freshly Fallen(by Amy Miller) but instead I am working on my Ombre wrap(by Purl Soho). This is going to be something that takes a LONG ASS time. Infact I think that might even be an understatement.  Several of my knitting friends think I am completely nuts for doing it (Because it is 1600 yards of seedstitch).  Seedstitch is not bad when you have to do a little of it but this is a little nuts…maybe it would be less so if I was a picker, but I am a thrower.

Oh and I cast on a shawl I am going to knit too…(because why not?)Well before I get tempted to cast on another project I better stop and celebrate my victories.

I finished Arlo and Licquorice(by Lioness Arts aka Dani Sunshine.

  1. The sweater is so cute, great color and the model precious. I looke at the Purl scarf and when I saw it was a seed stitch I quickly backed away. I like am a thrower so I decided it would take a long long time.
